Fidget Ring Features

• Spinning part of ring is solid piece of marblewood, shaped to be mostly smooth to give you a surface you can easily use to move the ring.
• The marblewood ring is set into a stainless steel core, providing some protection to the wood as well as additional visual interest to the ring. I also insert a thin strip of genuine sterling silver into the wood for both added strength and beauty.
• Since the outer ring sits a bit above the inner ring, you will hear a bit of a rattle when you shake your hand. Speaking as a user of similar rings, this can be an oddly soothing, quiet rattle.
• Total width is between 6mm and 8mm. The marblewood is slightly thicker than the stainless steel core, but I make every effort to make it as thin as possible while maintaining its strength and durability.
• The wooden outer ring will spin smoothly on the stainless steel core, but it is not as fast as ring with ball bearings. I use natural bees wax to provide extra lubricant to the spin, though this will wear down overtime and use.

What to Know Before You Decide…

I want you to be happy with your ring. If you are not sure this ring is right for you or not, here’s a bit of a cheat-sheet of what to expect:

• The “spinning” is not as smooth as a cheaper ring set on ball-bearings. If you are looking for something that will twirl like a pinwheel in a hail storm while also looking like a pop top ring, you might want to consider a metallic spinner ring.
• If you are allergic to bee’s wax, please let me know when ordering in the comments. I can use no lubricant or choose one that won’t cause issues.
• I wear my own cocobolo fidget ring daily. It helps with keeping me focused on what I’m doing.
• Marblewood is a strong hard wood, but even it can crack or warp. If you will be doing a lot of hard labor or submerging your hand in water for long periods, you should probably take it off. You can, though, wash your hands or do daily dishes at home without needing to take it off. I don’t worry about taking it off for either task. While it dries, it can be a bit less spinn-y, but it will regain its normal spin once it fully dries.
• When not wearing, store your fidget ring in a dry location, such as your bedroom or a jewelry box. This will help keep your ring looking good for years to come.
• With a lot of spinning, you may notice some fading. This is normal wear and tear and the nature of a wooden spinner ring. I seal the rings to help protect them from wear and tear, but if you fidget a lot, you may notice some wear and tear, particularly around the edges in contact with the metal.
