Description
Old Softie cares a bit too much sometimes and can easily get bent out of shape when life gets stressful.
This ring features cedar wood with light and red bands running throughout. Cedar is a naturally soft wood (hence the name) that is much easier to dent compared to hardwoods.
To help keep the ring looking good, we use a tungsten core to provide extra support to this old softie. An inlay of opal adds some additional sparkle to the ring, while the high gloss finish makes the whole thing shine.
Sizing recommendations:
Before ordering, make sure you know your ring size.
Due to the nature of the design, these rings cannot be resized once made.
You can use a string and ruler, a printable tool, or a ring measuring tool that you can order online to get at least a good idea of your ring size.
When measuring your finger, it is a good idea to take at least 3 measurements at different times of day so you get a good idea of just how large your finger is. You can then use the average of the three measurements to get a pretty accurate idea of your ring size.
Please note:
These rings are hand made to order. Each one will have a unique pattern and design based on the wood grain. Though cedar has natural red and white areas, we cannot guarantee an even mix of both colors in your ring. Some may run more light while others have more red.
You can select your size when ordering. If you would like to change the color of opal or use a different core, such as stainless steel, silver, or other materials, please email us: support@lmnawoodrings.com to confirm before making a purchase.
Caring for Old Softie
Old Softie gets its name from the soft cedar wood it is made from. Because cedar is a softwood, it is more prone to minor dings and dents compared to hardwood options.
If you work with chemicals, similar to acetone (nail polish remover), you may want to take your ring off to avoid damaging the finish.
