Description
Fractured wood rings add a unique twist to traditional solid wood rings. These rings get purposefully split when adding a tungsten core so they create unique fractures.
We then fill the fractures with opal, meteorite, or just about any inlay material to create a very unique, individual look.
No two designs are the same, even if they use the same exact wood and inlay material.
**Pictured: Indian rosewood with a light blue opal. Your ring will not look exactly like the one pictured.**
**Also pictured: Cocobolo wood with a light green opal. Your ring will not look exactly like the one pictured.**
Have a pre-sale question or not seeing options for wood or inlay? Email support@lmnawoodrings.com. We can accommodate several different custom requests in regards to opal color or different types of inlay used to fill in the cracks.
Sizing recommendations:
Due to the nature of the design, these rings cannot be resized once made.
You can use a string and ruler, a printable tool, or a ring measuring tool that you can order online to get at least a good idea of your ring size.
When measuring your finger, it is a good idea to take at least 3 measurements at different times of day so you get a good idea of just how large your finger is. You can then use the average of the three measurements to get a pretty accurate idea of your ring size.
Please note:
These rings are hand-made to order. Each one will have a unique pattern and design based on the chosen wood and inlay material.
You can select your size and wood type when ordering.
Caring for Fractured Wood Ring
Fractured Wood Ring is pretty robust and scratch resistant. You can wear the ring during most activities, though you may want to consider taking it off when swimming or submerging your hands in water for long hours or if you are doing any activity that puts stress on your hands.
Make sure to remove your ring before sleeping. If you are not wearing it, store it in a generally dry room, like your bedroom.
If you work with chemicals, similar to acetone (nail polish remover), you may want to take your sea glass ring off to avoid damaging the finish.
