While theoretically possible, I will say I seal it away pretty well so you shouldn’t have any issues with accidentally brewing tea while doing dishes.

Copper Ring with Tea Inlay Features

• I make this ring with actual Chai tea leaves and spices. I set them in a shiny copper ring and buff it to a glossy shine.
• The copper band is cut in a comfort core, meaning it will be easy to take on and off and will feel more comfortable when wearing throughout the day.
• Total width is 4mm, 6mm, or 8mm.
• The ring is water and corrosion resistant and sealed to protect your ring and finger.

What to Know Before You Decide…

I want you to be happy with your ring, so I’m giving you some things to consider before making a purchase:

• I seal the copper ring with a protective coat. While strong, it can wear overtime, which can diminish the shine a bit.
• I seal the tea leaves to prevent moisture and exposure. It is water resistant and generally fine to wear when washing your hands, doing dishes, or other light water activity. I strongly recommend taking off any ring when you plan to spend a long period of time in contact with water.
• Copper is generally scratch resistant.
• The copper ring is strong and won’t bend easily.
• When not wearing, store your copper ring in a dry location, such as your bedroom or a jewelry box. This will help keep your ring looking good for years to come.
• Copper rings range in color from a richer gold color to a muted orange color.
• If you order a smaller size (4, 4.5), I won’t be able to make a width wider than 6mm. All other sizes can go up to 8mm in total width.

Of course, you have the standard 14 day return period from when you receive your ring to change your mind if it does not meet your satisfaction.
