Description
Cancer awareness ribbons help show solidarity, raise awareness, and show support for survivors and their families. There is a color for just about every cancer, though some cancers do share colors or have only slight variations.
For example, purple ribbons represent pancreatic cancer (which my own mother survived), testicular cancer, bladder cancer, Hodgkin lymphoma, stomach cancer, and esophageal cancer.
Some other cancer colors include:
- Pink for breast cancer
- Black for skin cancer
- Grey for brain cancer
- White for lung cancer
- Teal for ovarian cancer
- Dark blue for colorectal cancer
I can make a cancer awareness ribbon pendant in any color to represent any cancer you would like. Each one gets hand-made to order using opal and other semi-precious stones as needed to get the right color and sparkle. I then polish them stones to a glossy shine.
With each order, I donate a portion of the sale to cancer research and Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep. Unless you request otherwise, donations get made to the cancer you are ordering a pendant for.

Please note, the cancer awareness ring is not included, though you can add it on.
This is the pendant only. If you would like a necklace, you can add it to the order.

These pendants are hand-made to order. Each one will have a unique pattern based on how the opal and any other materials lay in the pendant itself.
You can select to have a stainless steel necklace with the pendant.

Caring for the Cancer Awareness Ribbon Pendant
Like most jewelry, I recommend taking the cancer awareness ribbon pendant off when showering, swimming, and sleeping, but you do not necessarily have to.
When taking it off, store the pendant in a dry place.
You can clean it with regular jewelry cleaner or buffer.
Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep
We donate a portion of every sale to Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep to help grieving families suffering a loss.
Years ago, they provided pictures of our Nicholas, and now we are repaying their kindness.
They connect volunteer photographers with parents who delivered a still born baby capture what fleeting moments they have with their little one. Their organization helped our family several years back, and now we are helping to repay the favor.
