A Ring with Rich History

We’ve been going to Cape May, NJ for over two decades. My wife and I got engaged and married on the serene beaches, and we continue to take our children down each year.

If you have ever been to Cape May, you may have hear of Cape May diamonds. These “diamonds” are quartz crystals that broke off into the Delaware river several miles north. As the current brings them down river and into the Delaware Bay, they become smooth, semi-clear pebbles.

They get deposited on the beaches of Cape May point, where we collected many of the stones we use in this ring. More than Cape May diamonds, we use any interesting looking stone we find on the beach when making the inlay. You’ll also find some beach sand and possibly some small shell fragments as well.

The tungsten comfort core contrasts the natural look of the stone with a shiny, gun-metal look. Each ring tells a unique story and connects you to the rich, natural history of Cape May beaches.
